General maintenanceEven a properly made skateboard needs checking every time before riding, especially the screws, bolts, and wheels - all must be fastened and tightened. • From time to time, check all parts for wear, especially wheels. • Replace when needed. • If you have to replace any component, always replace with the appropriate spare part. • Do not leave the Roller Surfer in damp areas, as this will cause the board to warp. • If bearings tighten or seize, this will probably be due to dirt or grit. • Remember: grit and dirt in the bearings can be dangerous. • The Roller Surfer should always be clean. | |
Replacing your casterReplacing the Roller Surfer caster is simple. Just take care not to lose a screw in the process. 1. With the small Allen key, remove the four caster screws. (Turning COUNTER-CLOCKWISE.) 2. Leave the rubber pad in position. 3. Place the new caster over the rubber pad. 4. Replace the four caster screws with the Allen key. (This time turning CLOCKWISE.) | ![]() |
