HOW TO RIDE AND TIPS

1. Start riding

1. Place left foot ("Regular" position) or right foot ("Goofy" position) on the mid-back area on the front deck. Keep the RollerSurfer parallel to the ground.
2. Put your body weight on the front leg with the knee bent and push off with your back leg to gain momentum. The back leg follows and lands on the middle of the back board.
3. At first, balance yourself while going in a straight line. Then, start twisting your waist from side to side, and ride on the RollerSurfer in an "s" motion.

2. Turning

1. At first, use your front arm to point to the direction you want to turn (left or right). Lean with your body to the direction your stretched arm is pointing at.
2. Lean with your body to the direction your stretched arm is pointing at. Notice that your front foot is leaning to the same direction.
3. After succeeding in steps #1 and #2, use only your feet to turn. For sharper turns, use both feet, each leaning in an opposite direction. It is recommended to perform sharp turns only in slow speed!

3. Going Up Hill

1. Ride the RollerSurfer.
2. Use the "S" motion with extensive use of your waist.

4. Going down hill

1. Ride the RollerSurfer in a mild, wide slope.
2. Be careful not to gain too much speed.
3. In order to slow down, you must go in a wide "zigzag" motion. Also see "Stopping with a turn".

5. Slide

1. Ride the RollerSurfer.
2. Push both feet at the same direction carefully (toes or heels leading).
3. Balance yourself while sliding in a diagonal direction (to the riding direction).
