General maintenanceEven a properly made skateboard needs checking every time before riding, especially the screws, bolts, and wheels - all must be fastened and tightened. • From time to time, check all parts for wear, especially wheels. • Replace when needed. • If you have to replace any component, always replace with the appropriate spare part. • Do not leave the Roller Surfer in damp areas, as this will cause the board to warp. • If bearings tighten or seize, this will probably be due to dirt or grit. • Remember: grit and dirt in the bearings can be dangerous. • The Roller Surfer should always be clean. |

Replacing your casterReplacing the RollerSurfer caster is simple. Just take care not to lose a screw in the process.1. With the small Allen key, while holding the nuts with a pair of pliers, remove the four caster screws. (Turning COUNTER-CLOCKWISE.) 2. Leave the rubber pad in position. 3. Place the new caster over the rubber pad. 4. Replace the four caster screws with the Allen key, while holding the nut with the pliers. (This time turning CLOCKWISE.) |

Replacing your springThe Roller Surfer contains a spring element inside the main cylinder connecting the two boards. If replacement is needed, please follow these instructions: 1. Take one of the small Allen tool (Allen key). 2. Insert the Allen key and turn in a COUNTER-CLOCKWISE motion. 3. Take out the screws. Be careful not to misplace any screw! 4. Separate the spring housing from the deck. 5. Insert the Allen key to the Allen screw, located in the middle of the spring housing, and turn in a COUNTER-CLOCKWISE motion. 6. Disassemble the second spring housing in the same way. 7. Take your new spring. 8. Place the new spring instead of the old one. 9. Insert the Allen key and turn it in a CLOCKWISE motion, to fasten both Allen screws. 10. Reassemble both spring housing and relocate the 6 Allen screws on each side. 11. Insert the Allen key and turn it in a CLOCKWISE motion, to fasten all 12 Allen screws. |

Fastening your wheelsTightening the wheel screws before each ride is VERY IMPORTANT! 1. Using the two larger Allen keys simulateneously, tighten the two screws at the center of the wheel. (Turning them both CLOCKWISE.) |
